Kevin started photography by entering competitions and then as an employee for a multi-national company started shooting for the in-house newsletter and magazine. A great introduction to photo journalism, events and project photography. Kevin was able to hone his skills through critical feedback from a printing laboratory manager who was ex-Fleet Street. Later he qualified as a Licentiate of the Royal Photography Society. An opportunity to join the company's Training Department gave Kevin the chance to work full time in Audio Visual making programmes. And later he ran a wedding photography business.

These days Kevin enjoys photography as a personal medium to experience the world around him, whether it is local or on his travels and adventures. This gives him the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. He is inspired by the desire to photograph and capture a story sometimes with ambiguity, for himself and viewers to ponder. Kevin prefers not to be stereotyped but is happy for most images to fall loosely within a documentary genre. He pursues this creative process with boundless joy and infectious enthusiasm.

A Fuji camera is always at hand.
